Job Description


Position Summary:

Work closely with the Managing Director and Human Resources Manager. Handles a wide range of administrative tasks and works independently with little or no supervision. Is a willing team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Exercises good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills
  • Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates an ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Managing Director and HR Manager including completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, filing documents that are confidential in nature, sorting mail, scanning and filing documents, bank reconciliations, processing invoices and tracking information in Excel that can be confidential in nature
  • Assist with Human Resource training sessions
  • Assist with putting packets together for new hires

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years human resources work experience required
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence and other communications quickly with minimal direction
  • Experience in facilitating meetings
  • Keen attention to detail with ability to track and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proactive and service-oriented with easy-going personality
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Consistency and a high degree of quality in work
  • Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy; ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
