Position Overview:

Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. It's important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and resort or local recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Valet vehicles
  • Escort guest and their luggage and personal items to and from the guest rooms.
  • Beware of Safety/Security issues as it pertains to guests, co-workers, and about personal safety and security of resort.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms.
  • Respond to our guests' questions, complaints, comments, and requests in a courteous and professional manner, or refer to management if necessary.
  • Utilize hospitality service standards and display positive behaviors.

Requirements:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Prefer to be able to drive a stick shift
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
