Job Description


Position Overview:

The Server is responsible for providing customer service while serving food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • The server will take food orders and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques.
  • As part of the food and beverage department, the server will clear tables during service and control guest checks and secure proper payment.
  • Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage leadership team.
  • Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a food server within a full service restaurant environment required
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and a flex shift if needed
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations and policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons.
