Job Description

JOB SUMMARY 

Supervise the operations of the housekeeping staff promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets and minimal expenses.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching, and counseling and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms; ensure compliance with SOPs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
  • Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Asgard – entering inspections minimum 5 per day including one PM public area inspection (bathrooms, lobby, BOH, pool, fitness when it opens). BBQ area, and laundry rooms
  • Also work orders in Asgard related to inspections 
  • Building Property Walk –Complete in Asgard
  • Check for trash, dirty linen, overall building conditions
  • Anything related to Covid tasks and inspections – to better protect our associates and guests
  • Prep for the following day AM
  • Work with Coordinator on count, review staffing needs
  • Storeroom cleanup up and organizing – applicable now and later when we consolidate
  • Being able to pick up residual work from mid-day rooms inspectors (rooms not inspected…etc)
  • Assisting early afternoons with the rooms turn
  • Directing public area attendants and runners as necessary (not able to discipline)
  • Verify Housemen and Coordinator are completing daily tasks
  • PM Stand-up and temperature checks
  • Responsible for 4:00PM checkout inspections (Signature Travel/American Express Guest)
  • Storage Closet Inspections / Organization / Stocked / Inventory
  • Verify all dirty linen is bagged and ready for morning pick up
  • Start linen bags for following day based on checkouts
  • Walk Sales gallery
  • Discrepant Room List – do not hang rooms
  • Send evening pass down to Housekeeping leadership
  • Supplies – rags and chemicals
  • Golf carts cleaning and charging
